Hello everybody, thank you for letting me join the group!!!

I've always loved cars and trucks but the #1 car I always wanted was a Corvette, never really knew much about them as far as specs or anything technical but they've always caught my eye. About 8 months ago I finally had the opportunity to become a Corvette owner!! I came across a 1984 C4 CFI (That I knew absolutely nothing about. LOL) that had been sitting in a yard untouched for about 6 years, it didn't run, the paint is bubbling in places and the interior is very sun damaged. I loaded it up on a trailer and brought her home, got her running the same day and from there have pretty much nose dived into it learning everything I can about it. So far I have done every bit of work to it myself. On the inside I've rebuilt the cluster and steering column along with fixing lots of odds and ends like seats not working, A/C and so on. On the outside got the brakes working enough to drive it at first and now have replaced every bushing with poly, swap complete suspension with Z51 springs and components, changed gears from 3.07 to 3.73, rebuilt brakes and steering rack, changed all fluids, complete tune up and install Renegade intake. Next week I will start gutting the interior and installing dynamat throughout, all new carpets, new dash and just about everything else. LOL

Brad,

That's very impressive not knowing anything about Corvettes! What is your background?

BTW, Welcome to the forum!!! How did you find us?

Thank you Indycars!!
I’ve pretty much always had mechanical nack, I worked on tractor/ trailers at an International dealership for 5 years straight out of school then moved up to big horsepower at a Caterpillar dealership working on diesel CAT engines for about 10 years and have been doing natural gas compression for the past 10 years or so.

I found the forum by searching for information on my C4 and have seen a lot of post from Grumpy on Facebook groups that I am in.

Open the picture in Microsoft Paint then you can save it as a “.bmp” file. That may result in a smaller file... different file formats retain high resolution and you don’t need that for an icon.

If you you all have not noticed, I almost didn't, but Brad has edited his first post with several photos.
