Hello everyone

I said that kinda snippy, after I read it
I didn't mean any ill well towards you ,
It should have been more like do you agree with my findings at the end of my post.
Im just a bit bitter about it, I noticed
When I got the motor put in,it moved around when I bolted up torque converter two years ago.
but me think hey they're a engine builder's what the hell do I know, well a lot more then the guy who let junk go out the door.

Should have taken the time and just built it myself, at least it didn't fly apart is the upside, and it was probably a good thing I was doing some upgrade to it.
Might not of caught it.

Don't worry about it.
I have heard of Skip White.
I think what happens is guys get a big operation going.
Becomes an assembly line process with several helpers.
I have seen it in the Pontiac V8 world.
Big name.
Quality often suffers.
Wrong guys hired.
Just a job.
Stuff makes it out the door that should not.
Of course dishonesty at times too.

That Hellcat you have has 780 Hp Flywheel power stock.
707 is a joke.
Turned the Corvette world upside down 2014- present.
The C7 ZR1 finally topped it.
Would not believe the crap I took.
Here.
Digital Corvette Forum.
Long story.

No easy way to beat unless you do it the Pontiac V8 NHRA Super Stock F.A.S.T. Way.
I call it Full Race Danger Zone.
Grumpy hates my way.
But proven to work.

It's a blast to drive the hellcat we go get groceries on the weekend with it, I have a extra set of rear rims with drag radials on it just to give it a better bite on the street.

I kinda figured the same thing, some new
Guy was supposed to check it and said I'll do that after lunch.
I called them told them what I was doing
First .

They said Oh that cam is too big total mismatch heads intake cam but they could fix me up for a price, I laughed and said last time you fixed me up you gave me a shit crankshaft.
I'm guessing they don't know how to degree a cam in or they think I don't know.
I've seen a few spec and dyno sheets
To know I'm on the right track with my build thanks to all the information on the blog specifically on a 496ci.
Cam was spec out by 3 cam manufacturers I stuck with Howard's
Being that's the cam that was in it.
But wanted to get a base idea what what cam would work best lift duration lobe separation.

Time to go to Work ! ?
Well it has begun
What do ya do with 290cc magnum oval port heads from AFR.
Polish the hell out of the exhaust ports
Figured it can't hurt, as long as you don't change the profile and stay off the sealing
Part of the seat.

Where can one purchase this compound?

How did you polish the entire port, I couldn't get around all the corners myself?

Most of it came from Amazon
Rubber diamond polishing wheels help after sand paper rolls.
Then I hand sand a bit with 100grit
Then start with scotch brite BOB of
120grit to smooth it out then work my way through 320 grit BOB thenfinish sand by hand with 800grit then rub diamond compound in and use felt bob and to finish polish to a mirror
Oh I almost forgot use a bit of WD-40
On scotch brite Bob's it keep them from loading up
