Extended wheelbase T bucket

Weather was a little cooler today. Got a little frame work done. Got both sides and verticals tacked up. Blue tape is proposed diagonals I’m trying tomorrow. I’m going to the big house tomorrow to get my frame table so I can finish weld frame without turning it into a pretzel. Good Man !!!

How will you get them out of the truck, need help? Maybe you could just backup at 30 mph
and hit the brakes!

You better not weasel out on that statement! I'm holding you to it!!!
Get r done.
Yes sir! Got the drill press, band saw and the table in the truck in my driveway as I speak! Will get them in the shop tomorrow.
Not sure! Gravity helps but I’m going to give a shot! You f I can’t get it done I’ll give you a shout.
How much did you get done last night?

I had to finish sanding the washer, I now have .007 inches of end play. It's bigger than CKP suggested, but it
seems that .002-.004 is pretty darn small. I fixed the tool needed to hold the output shaft in place and it bolted
on ready to go. Will start this evening putting pieces in the case.

Well I'm happy to report that John did not weasel out of his statement. The drill press, band
saw and welding table are all in the shop now. They are in the picture, but hard to spot.

We got the table cleaned and level to within 0.2° in all directions. Then we started on the
diagonals braces.

Not sure what he is thinking, but I'm pretty sure it's not "Take more pics please". :D

Good weather enabled me to get some progress today. I worked almost 10 hours notching 2 tubes to be perpendicular to the centerline and level with the ground! What a pain in the butt! I will tack the diagonals before I weld the front tube in. 8EEBCF76-D047-450E-81CD-C92A2477A782.jpeg Well, Rick started his retirement by dragging me out to the shop at 9:30! Lol Not really I knew he was coming. I got the frame rails squared up and the torsion bar strapped in and square. When Rick got here we started fitting the diagonal tubes in place. Got it done just in time for him to take the T bucket for a trip for dinner! He just had to tell me! Anyway it is starting to look like something now.
It just agrivates me that his fit-ups looked better than mine! Thank you Rick!
