I.D my cam

solid fixture here in the forum
I removed my SBC hydraulic cam last night and was looking to identify it. I did not have my camera with me so I just wrote down the numbers. The letters CR were above 114822 ....And below those numbers were 11-50-95
then there were small numbers on an angle that read 119306 952041

I tried to look them up but have came up empty. Does anyone know what I may have. I drew a sketch
to try to explain it better.

It's not really a "slow ramp" cam and more than any of their other older cams- it's just that the advertised duration is spec'ed at only .001" tappet lift, where almost all their other cams are spec'ed at .004". Trust me, it's about 280* advertised duration if you were to compare it at the more traditional .004" spec."

It's about Right for a mild Blower Boost Cam the specs.
230 @ .050" is typical.
What We used in the Race Shop I worked in for LS Turbo and blower Corvettes C5 and C6 Gen.
Allows 15-21 psi safe.

More can be had with a modern custom ground roller cam.
Race Car safe durability will cost $2-5 K more just top end with roller cam.
Put you way over budget.

This particular cam performed well in my 383 sbc. The motor was build by another person who I acquired it from a few years ago. It was built as a N/A motor. I ran it for a few years before installing the small (177) blower. The blower really woke it up.

I am happy with this cam... but.. I was curios as to how the Howards cam # 110061-12 would perform with all else being the same.

Have to look at the cam card.
Howard cam has more duration.
Likely bleed off cylinder pressure with more overlap gain less boost pressure under load.
If anything often a 230@.050 with 118-124 lobe separation for super high boost over 30 psi. Not a good idea with your present engine.
110 lobe separation used by LS Turbo Chicago street racers here on E85.

You run into other issues swapping to a different cam with old TRW pistons I have experienced. The valve pockets were cut for .480- .570 lift cams typical.
The piston to vale open clearances change with different lobe centerline cams and individual events.
Modern race pistons are cut with deep valve reliefs.
Often have to correct valve geometry issues.
Snowballs.
Have a cam that worked before no issues.

Make sure you use a Race pickup for the oil pump.
Factory fine mesh screen style is restrictive for thick race oils like 20w50.
Want a Moroso or Milodon race pickup tube.
Use a high flow oil filter.
Some Pontiac guys eliminate the oil filter.
No restriction . Change oil after every race.
Done with a special oil filter adapter bypass plate on Pontiac V8.
Done factory on early Tempest. No oil filter.
Kindy iffy offroad.

After all the basics understood and some race math it becomes a terrible money game..
Figure $10k needed at least for the modern day race engine.
I had to wait with my old TA.
Finally got Moolaaa again $$$$.
Get it done too.

May 1st is the opener (2 months away). I think I will be ready! crank was delivered to machinist today and block will be delivered to him on Monday.

Speaking of the rabbit hole, if you did not keep the lifters in order so that they go back exactly where they came from, then you might as well drop that cam on the concrete right now.

I learned that lesson at the age of 14. LOL
I have a special container with oil that the lifters go into so it keeps them in the order that they came out. There is no way they can get mixed up.

You can install new lifters on a used cam, but you CANNOT install used lifters that were not mated to the lobes.
