Header Installation And Custom Exhaust Finally Done

Like the title says, installed them at home and drove to my favorite exhaust shop to have the 3" y-pipe fabricated feeding into the cat, then 2-1/2" pipes out to the Magnaflow's I installed last year. Overall worth the cost and effort. Exhaust tone is deeper and just plain better sounding. Performance wise with the little bit of driving I've done is it's seems better across the entire RPM range, but especially after 4500rpm till red line. I think the AFR cylinder heads are liking the new exhaust flow. Best of all everything is CA smog legal although I was warned that a smog tech may not like a 3" pipe before the cat but hopefully it won't stand out painted black. I'm thinking the headers will be enough of a distraction but who knows I'll find out next year at smog time.

that looks really good, I'm damn sure you'll see a very noticeably boost in power,
over most of the rpm range and the effective (x) pipe blend of exhaust pulses,
helps reduce restriction's to exhaust flow and mellow the exhaust tone
