Its some kind of Soviet V12 Diesel Engine.
Pretty amazing it started up.
The Diesel injection pump & Diesel poppet fuel injectors work perfect after 65 years.
Even the engine driven diesel lift fuel pump worked !
Just holy crap...
I worked in that diesel injection shop near me as you recall.
10-15 years is average service life before complete fuel system overhaul.

They primed the injection system as I do on older diesel Cummins engines with PT series injection pumps.
