Hello everyone my name is Ben and I have a 65 nova that I'm always messing around with. I was pretty excited to see this forum as I've learned allot from reading grumpy's posts via Google. Anyways I look forward to learning more and maybe, just maybe, having an answer to someone's question.

Welcom Ben! Anymore details you can share about your Nova? I had one when I was a kid in school, Blue on Blue 3 spd on the tree 283 2 barrel with headers and home made dual exhaust from the junkyard, one tailpipe exited behind the left rear wheel and the other straight out the back under the bumper right side. It was a fun car to drive making repairs without money.

Welcome to the forum from Yukon Oklahoma. I drove a 64 Nova in high school, best time was a 13.03 seconds.

It's a 65 4 door with a 355 that I'm in the process of warming up a bit. I have vortec heads being checked at the machine shop as we speak if they check out ok I'll begin figuring out what cam I'm gonna go with, roller or flat tappet? The rest of the combo consists of headers an x pipe through MagnaFlow mufflers. Transmission is a tko600 which I love but now think the 3.42 rear with Eaton posi may need a bump 3.73 4.11? I'm gonna try and post some pics here in just a bit thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Try looking thru the thread below. There is some free software linked to that will reduce
the size of the file. You might also possibly be able to set the camera such that it takes
photos at a lower resolution. I think the limit for upload is 10 MB, which is plenty big.

Welcome! I also had one in high school, must be a thing here. My last one was a 2 dr. 67 SS pro streeter back half bracket car. Here's my HS Nova, ya it was a rusty 10 Y/O "beater" at the time and the Camaro was my other car. Dads Monza, moms wagon, and brothers clown van also in pic.
