They work how long and the risks of it coming apart must be taken into account I would not use. Borgwarner has very affordable units if one was going to go down this road and a quality waste gate is even more important to combat turbo creep.

I bought this turbo from speed daddy. They said it comes set at 8psi. Which they where correct on. Well I put it on my rb25det and it about burnt it up when the seals decided to go out in the turbo with only 50 miles on it blow all the oil from my motor out my exhaust pipe. So said. Shaft had over 1 / 16 play in it.
 
yeah, when the known major brand name ,supply sources,
charge $600-$2500, and someone offers you something that is supposed too be similar,
for well under 10% -24% of that average cost, of the brand name parts,
its obviously chinese import trash, badly cloned components,
or something even worse.
even stolen parts would probably command at least 50% of the new brand name parts price.
