I can’t even buy a floor model - anywhere! Now I’m not referring to the cheap crap homeowner models outside at Tractor Supply, Lowes and Home Depot. I’m looking for JDeere, Ferris, Hustler, Exmark, Kubota and maybe Case. It‘s amazing how much these mowers cost - starting at $15,900 to $24,700! Looking for 72” (could do with a little smaller), want at least 27 hp. Kolhler over Kawasaki, air ride seat and advanced cutting deck technology. Even on the factory websites they say inventory is extremely low.

Thank you. I had called them a month ago.
Let me say this - every great brand makes a Homeowner line. John Deere, Kubota, Kioti and on and on and there is a crap load of inventory however, if you are like me and only want commercial grade tools and equipment you will find there is not much out there because the better built, commercial grade equipment costs more, is made in fewer quantities (for obvious reasons).
Also, I never buy brands that don’t make their own equipment. The companies that sell items under a brand name but are made by another company are those that are in deep crap these days with supplier shortages, they stop producing at any given time and go MIA without explanation. Take Bobcat, made by Kioti. Take Club Cadet, LS, and the list goes on and if you are up on what those brands are doing you already know they are screwed.
There are pockets in regions that have inventory but cannot or will not ship to their other company locations and if the do its cost prohibitive. Many compaines don’t let their licensed dealers to sell outside their areas. Call a Kubota dealer in the next state to see what they say when you tell them where you live.

That's why I linked them to you. I deal with them through work and was in the building just the other day. The place is full of commercial equipment

I’m going to call them in the morning and see what they have. Last time I talked to them they wanted over $2,000 to ship a ZTM to me and they insist on charging me state sales tax, I’m tax exempt in PA plus no special factory financing or paying cash rebates are available to out of state, or out of sales-region buyers.

Hopefully they can suggest something. Thanks!

That's a bummer. I'm tax exempt too. I wonder why they have a problem with out of state. Either way, good luck

Tax exemption is only for sales within the state you have the exemption status. The factory rebates and incentives for financing is always dependent on regional marketing same as the car manufacturers.
As I scouted around different name brands at the dealers they always asked me where I live. People are calling from all over the US looking for what they need. At this point the factorys are protecting their licensed dealers from far away sales by prohibiting any sales from out of dealer’s protected regions.

Yanmar has cut 2nd shift on Monday, the 23rd, citing supplier shortages from China. Now the new and super improved the 5th generation diesel will be late production 2024 machines over 124 cu inch. 2022 model year engines ended 2 months early and 132,000 units to be rebadged as 20023 model year engines. As much as 27% reduced units for 2022, and at least that many if not more in 2023 means the 9 top manufacturers including ATV and off road vehicles using Yanmar engines will have limited allocation. Yikes!
