The R43 spark plugs are hard to find in this area. I have them on back order. Can find 44 and 45 but not for local store pick up. Maybe I can re-use the last set that came with that car, they don't look worn.

You Try O'Reilly Auto parts Richard ?
Website shows that they have R43 last I checked.
The set of R43 AC DELCO spark plugs I installed I bought from an Ebay Seller.
$12.00 free shipping.
Some of the Vintage musclecar AC Delco spark plugs are hard to find now.
And some are selling for $100-$300 per sets of 8.
For the Big Block C2 &C3 Corvettes & Pontiac GTO.
Accel spark plugs for my 70-1/2 TA I used in the past are hard to find now.
I stock up like you do.

$12 is cheap, the cheapest AC Delco plugs are $18 to $24. a set here. However, there is a coupon code for $30 off any $50 or more order at AA. Try TRT30 it will flip to 30% on the next coupon rotation.
By the way, Carquest is owned by Advance Auto.

Yes.
The Carquest here is teamed up with Advanced Auto.
Ordered parts online through Advanced Auto for the Suburban.
The Engine oil cooler line I picked up at my local Carquest down the road.

I bought Heavy Duty AC Delco Truck series spark plugs last year several sets.
Meant for 427 Tall deck BBC engines.
They will Fuel foul up in most passenger car musclecar engines.
Cold or Very Cold Heat Ranges.
But Fit my Trans Am.
That engine sees 3,000-7,000 Rpms .
Ok.

Don't forget about Champion Copper Core Spark plugs.
They are very good.

The 2.87 Pontiac gearset showed up this morning Grumpy via UPS.
The Ebay seller blasted it clean. I think with Baking Soda.
Looks Good.
Polished gear teeth from run in still present .The Front pinion bearing is still intact and polished too.

I used about 2-1/2 -3 gallons of gasoline driving home last night.
The Air was Cool and Dense.
About 55-57 F.
The Offy Intake Dual port intake is interesting .
I think its a big factor why intake manifold vacuum is so High .

Once I get The Viton Valvestem seals installed I am hooking up new exhaust.
Still running around with the open reproduction exhaust Starfire exhaust manifolds.
Ratrod style....About 1100-1200 miles driving like that now.
Lol.
Exhaust sysyem in place I can hookup my Wideband O2 AEM Guage.
Data logs too.
Get scientific tuning to a Razor Edge.

Lol! Don't they have a highway patrol there? There's no shortage of cops around here, let's see, no inspection, no exhaust, 80 mph = a reckless driving citation worth 3 points = big insurance hit.
