1977 Camaro Z28 Resto Mod Build

Today, I dropped the car down off the rotisserie. That is a big milestone. It has been up there since Sep 2013!

I think I might need to lower the car a "little" though for the proper ride height :)

Na, just need prerunner suspension with a foot of travel! Congrats on getting it off the rotisserie, pain getting them off isn't it.

Nice work.

Is the Ride Tech 4-link for Road Racing-Street Use ?
Or is it used for drag racing also ?

I am used to Leaf springs & traction bars- Cal tracs or Comp Engineering Slide-A-Links.
CCE Slide A Links on my 1970 Trans Am now along with Big Mickey Thompson Drag Radial ET tires.

Or you weld in Pro 4- link, Mini tub the car or Make it a big tire car with big wheel tubs & a narrowed rearend.

Are You using coil over shocks or Ride Tech Air Bag suspension system ?

I have heard they make IRS rears for 2nd gen F-bodies.

Drag Racing is my thing & playing hard on the streets.

The upper brackets mount on a very strong part of the 2nd Gen F-body frame rails I see.
High Torsional Stiffness area.

Its pretty typical nothing fits as planned.
Modify as needed.

Pretty Neat Build you have going.

Engineered nice too.
I see several, multiple SHEER PLANES.
Even in a severe accident the brackets should not pull free break away.
Almost as strong as TIG Welded full.

Nice work.

This will not be a drag car. Mostly street with a little road racing. I am going with the coil-overs.

John, I call him Birdman he has some pretty Kool Custom one off hardware he makes builds himself to fit your 2nd Gen Camaro.
Make Her really Hug the Roads at speed.

There is Road around here we call Dead Man's Curve.
Its the Backway through Starved Rock State Park I live just a few miles awsy from here in Central Illinois .
The Last Turn is marked just 20 miles per hour.
If you screw up you will hit a Huge Retaining Concrete Wall .

I like to drive my 1987 Corvette through there.
I can go through at 45-47 mph.
A few sections you csn hit 80-100 mph.

One guy could never be beat Racing through side by side.
He even beat my late bud Bill with his Corvettes. C1 though L-88 C3 Corvettes Bill owned.
Roger had a 1963 Studerbaker Golden Hawk.
Supercharged.

I knew Foger F.
He was Krazy.
From the Old Guard.
Sadly Roger Passed on too a few years back.

Roger looked like Chuck Yeager.
A Bit Taller.

I used to call Roger" HERE COMES CHUCK YEAGER ! AMERICAS 1ST TEST PILOT ! "
Roger Would Laugh & Smile Back.

Got the passenger side Wilwood brakes installed today. I love the look of these. Especially with the wheels on there.

We threw the fender on for the heck of it. Ride height is obviously not right :)

Nice looking brakes! Directional rotor on wrong side of car?

No, the car only goes in reverse. Haha! Whoa, nice catch! I forgot all about that. They made no mention in the instructions (as I recall). Funny that they tell not to put the wrong caliper on though (which obviously would not work). You are my hero!
