Do You have acess to 100 Low Lead Aviation gasoline ?Right it was the ignition...
Now we have slight detonation at medium revs on acceleration.
Retarded the ignition. Helps a bit but still no success. Sollution Richer mixture ?
We just had the ignition all wrong.Could try and richen up the mixture.
You said the spark plugs were Black. Super Rich or the ignition spark was snuffed out.
When it was Cooler out you were happy with how it ran.
My experience with Edelbrock on Real Hot Days is the fuel boils inside of the float bowl.
Leads to uncontrolled fuel metering problems issues.
Detonation issues now with timing Pulled back.

Ok. Aviation Gasoline is excellent.We just had the ignition all wrong.
Now off to buy octane booster ( if I can find any)
I am not familar with Putoline.The best ( or the only ) I can get is putoline octane booster....octa

Oil level ok.
External shiftmechanism seems to work.
Klicking inside: No movement
Try this....I just had the whole thing rebuilt by a " specialist"....

Remove the Vacuum modulator can.
Its on the Rear side of a Turbo 350 trans.
With needle nose pliers carefully remove the modulator valve.
It may be stuck in the case bore.
Causing Low Line pressure and No vehichle movement.
Polish the valve with 600 grit wet and dry sandpaper.
Clean with solvent.
Reinstall with fresh ATF coated on the modulator valve.
Assemble and retest.
