4150 Holley Double Pumper Carburetor On A Holley 4500 Dominator Intake Manifold

B&R Racing

solid fixture here in the forum
I passed on a Ultra Rare 1980s Vintage Doug Nash produced Warrior Pontiac Intake manifold a few months back for sale, $450.00.
It was the 4500 Dominator Single Plane, Beautiful curved runners RAIV Tall Port Size, sort of low profile compared to the Edelbrock Victor Pontiac V8.
Too small of plenum volume for today's Aftermarket Poncho Aluminum heads capable of 300, 330, 375, 400 up to 550 cfm flow potential depending upon the many Race heads out there.
But back in the 1980s there was only Factory Cast Iron Heads.
Perfect match for my 1976 455 Now !
Then about 2 weeks ago surfing Holleys Website looking at thier Ultra Hp 4150 Race E85 Carburetors They are slotted for 4500 Dominator intakes too.
A feature that Holley used 1st back in 2014 on Ultra Hp Race line only.
BLP Pro Flow 1085 40365AB on the Pontiac now was built in 2011 for me, was State of the Art very Best at the time money could buy.
Single pattern 4150 Billet baseplate (850 cfm) type, non slotted.

How does it actually work out Performance wise Real World Grumpy ? 4150 on a 4500 Dominator intake any make of engine chosen?

Head Porters are taking the Dominator 4500 intakes and Porting to the very outer edges, like .050 "Carburetor baseplate gasket sealing area only.
Seen on Chad's V-Factor many times, all destined for Super Hero Hp Normal Aspirated 1100-1200 Hp !
Think that optimal Fuel Atomized none on the walls like Darin Morgan talks about in one of last night videos I posted.
