64 Nova Pre-tune Startup

Description says it's a 350 ci SBC bored over.
Holley Dominator 1050.
.680lift cam
Patriot Cylinder heads.
Idles very good and sounds strong.

I see a Vintage Vertex OAC Magneto my personal Favorite.
I have one just like it put away ready to go install .
Fits Small Block Chevy and Big Block Chevy .
 
Seems to me Grumpy the 4150 Holley Double Pumper has the edge on the Street with its stock progressive linkage for Driveability all around.
The 4500 Dominator can idle just as nice as 4-corner idle circuit equipped 4150 DP.
4500 has the advantage of Inhabited clean airflow in unless you purchase a 4150 BLP Pro Flow 1085 Like I did.
Dominator intake manifold will have the larger plenum volume stock or Full ported out Vs 4150 intake stock or Full ported out.
4500 carb and 4500 Dominator intake should make more peak power.
I haven't found any videos of a Holley 4500 Dominator carb equipped with the Progressive linkage cam underside of baseplate and guys Revving up hard idle to WOT Repeatedly and part throttle to show Transient response any given time like the Videos I made of the Pontiac 1976 455 with BLP 40365AB 1085 Cfm DP.
LOVE THE THROTTLE RESPONSE LIKE A HIGH END DIRT TRACK 410 CI SBC Race engine.
Bo Laws BLP Baseplate Butterflies and progressive linkage is Buttersmooth also at the Carburetor linkage and exact same feedback I feel at the gas pedal in the car.

Dominator 4500 would still be fun to play with test out.
Top End Speed Race carb on the street I think. Foot to the floor never lift useage.
 
Also that Vertex Magneto burns 100% of the Fuel, no wasted energy.
Pontiac 455 doesn't stink any on pump gas with open exhaust no mufflers.
With a little Marvel Mystery oil added to the Fuel cell it almost smells like 110 Race Gas a reminiscent tinge of .

Why his SBC in the video Hits so hard to at idle besides the nice heads.
Vertex Magneto equipped!

Ive been VERY tempted, MANY TIMES,
to fabricate a compatible top plate on a tunnel ram intake base,
to make either a 3 deuce or quad two barrel intake to use several of these two barrel carbs
 
I really like the Fully adjustable Holley Accelerator pump circuits.
Not matched by any other.
