That must be what Bubba tightened them all to during the last State inspection. I was up all night working on my wife’s abandoned ‘06 Prius so we have another car for the kids to get to school. There’s aftermarket wheels from Tire Rack on this car and they came with a set of nuts. Trouble starts with the lug nut holes are so small I need a thin wall socket to fit the lugs and get into the recess of the rims. I’m afraid to use an impact gun, even a light duty one for fear that it will break the socket. Equally so, I’m worried something will get screwed up using anything as the lugs are torqued down unbelievably super tight. And that unfortunately isn’t all of it. Every nut gets stuck inside the socket and it’s hell trying to pull them apart!

It's why I have to Buy Snap On Sockets and hand tools my line of work wrenching on my own or hired in a shop to do it.
Super Tight Rust production work repairs.

Matco really good more affordable.
Snap On Makes the Stongest Impact Chromemoly Steel Non Chrome plated Black Oxide finish sockets 6-Point style.
Their Chrome thin wall sockets are strong, eventually fail with impacts used on them.
Always warranted replaced for me.
Try and avoid buying because you work your life paying the Tool guys.

Some Husky Ok.
Milwaukee and Dewalt making thier own impact sockets look Ok for average use.

Late model crap junk today,
Vintage Super old Froze together Snap On my 1st choice for sockets and wrenches.
Yes its expensive.

try heating with a torch then cooling with a spray of 30 % marvel mystery oil/ 40% acetone/ 30% diesel mix
if you don,t have freeall

Free-All-Can.png

you might want to try this FREE ALL I found it works even better than most common penetrating oil sprays

repeat the process several times about 30 minutes apart then try removing the nuts
next time use anti seize on the threads
