yeah theres a long list and personally ID suggest ,
incorrectly setting the ignition timing curve, incorrectly setting valve preload or lash clearance,
are some of the more common areas guys screw up royally.
yeah, obviously the carb tuning or controls on injector pulse, vacuum leaks
the wrong t-stat, or anything that controls or affects the fuel air ratio , like a restrictive air filter,
are always suspect but thats almost expected.
what most guys don't consider is the exhaust restrictions, and a restrictive exhaust could very easily cost you 50 plus horsepower
