one of my neighbors brought over a buddy of his from where he works that has a 90% complete
t-bucket, hes been working on for 30 plus years, in his home garage
I did not get a picture but I found this picture on the internet, of a very similar car
1927-Ford-T-Bucket-Hemi-fa-sy.jpg

now his project car is not nearly this complete but it does have a 392 hemi with some older chrome valve covers and a dual quad intake manifold and he has older 9" ford rear differential and a modified th400 G.M. transmission with an adapter plate.
he has the larger rear tires and the headers are lower and closer to the frame but over-all the appearance is some what similar , as the radiator grill , low slung stance, hemi engine, and wind shield designs are quite similar.
he had 4 wheel disc brakes and stated the car works well if the pavements dry and you keep the throttle barely depressed, but its a handful if its raining or you get stupid with the throttle.
I got to talk with the guy and he has a 3000 rpm stall converter and a 3.54:1 rear gear ratio and he stated he had the car dyno tested awhile back and it made 380 rear wheel hp.
(which he says is more than enough in a 2300 lb car to as he put it... "scare the hell out of you on a wet or dry street, even with the huge rear tires,") if you stupid enough to floor the throttle.
personally I was quite impressed with the detail work,
even though the car needs to be painted and the interior,
seats carpet, and dash needs extensive work yet.
(he says the wife refers to the car as)
"MIKES bottom less money pit!"

I don,t know where he got the rear and front tires that were mounted on custom aluminum wheels ,
but
both were about 31" tall and the fronts were about 9" wide tread,
the rears were about 13" wide tread just the tires ,
and wheels on the car made it look very impressive

I asked him why he selected the larger tires , and he stated he really needed the 31" minimum tire height too get the oil pan and transmission road clearance of 4.5" with him siting in the car, under the cars oil pan and transmission oil pan, , and the wide tire surface area to provide traction for braking and, traction on acceleration, but he stated after he decided on the tire size's, he wanted,
he had to have custom extra wide wheels made too both fit the disc brakes and get the off-set too look correct and that cost him much more than the expensive tires did, to have those wheels custom made, plus he found that no tire shop would mount them, so he had to get the guys who built the wheels to mount the tires.
he said if he had it to do over he would have used a 8 lug dana 70 differential out of a 3500 dodge truck, as the cost of the wide truck style wheels on 18" -20" rims would not have been much if any more and he had found several dana 70 differentials for sale rather cheaply

Ill ask my son how to work it,
I can take a picture but I didn,t bother simply because of past experience,
as in the past when I've tried in the past the picture quality sucked,
so far I can,t get the picture out of the phones memory
to the web site.
I'm saving to get a camera with that feature

Ill ask my son how to work it,
1.) I can take a picture but I didn't bother simply because of past experience,
as in the past when I've tried in the past the picture quality sucked,
2.) so far I can,t get the picture out of the phones memory
to the web site.
3.) I'm saving to get a camera with that feature

1.) What kind of phone do you have? You didn't learn building engines with the first try did you? It's going to take some trial and error. But it shouldn't take you more than a couple hour of focused work over 2 days.

And you ask for CLEAR DETAILED PICS to troubleshoot problems, seems like you should be able to take a decent photo. So, did I shame you into making an effort? :p

2.) Use the same cable that you use to charge it with and connect it to the computer. Then browse to the folder containing the pics. The pics will be too big, so you will have to use MS Paint or install PaintNet like in my post below.

Page down to the software section of the first post.

Download the same PaintNet below.

You don't need to load pics into computer with most phones now. Just upload directly to a photo host like photobucket directly from the phone. Resizing is automatic. I can take a pic and post on this forum within 2 minutes. I've got a couple fancy Nikon cameras but rarely use them anymore since the phone cameras are so good now and it's fast to take pics and upload to photo hosting site. No point in buying a camera, just buy a modern phone. I only use cameras now for "photo shoot" kind of stuff where I'll be using a tripod etc.

Custom backspace wheels are the common thing today. It's still the same ole three that really make a car, paint, stance, wheels/tires.
