I had a chance to try out a friends new 22LR bolt action with a 4x nikon scope yesterday, at 25 yards it shot a 30 cal 5 shot group off a solid rest , damn impressive, and
while I fully understand that paying about $900 for a 22 long rifle target style rifle puts that well out of range of most peoples budget.
its still really impressive to see what a good rifle can do .
