Aeromotive is a great company!

I want to give a shout out to Aeromotive. Anyone looking to build an electric pump fuel system should give them your consideration. I purchased their A750 pump, which is a high pressure EFI pump for various engines up to about 750hp, back in 2008. I ran and abused this pump as part of a dual pump, high G system that I'd designed in lieu of a sumped tank. This pump lived a long hard life, finally leaving me one morning when it failed to come on. I tested with a low amp probe and lab scope and found poor contact at the commutator. I sent it in for repair last month, expecting to pay as much as $200 to have the nearly $400 pump brought back to life. It should be long past warranty.

Just got a message from Enzo in the repair department that my freshly rebuilt pump is on its way back to me, free of charge. That is far beyond what I expected. Hats off to Enzo and Aeromotive!

I really didn't expect warranty coverage on a 9 year old pump. At best, I was hoping for a flat rate repair. Maybe $100.

I also have a Fuelab pump. They make a great brushless pump to be sure. All of their products are very well made. They charge a scaled fee from $25 to $100. $100 being a complete overhaul. I think that's pretty fair. Never expected free. I'm really happy with Aeromotive.

That's very good news about an American company! I'm using one of their filters.

thats the type of website thread, post that's sure to result in that company's sales being both more consistent and more frequent.
while it might cost them a bit of time and money occasionally,
I know for a fact I'm sure not the only one that ,
looks for, remembers, and buys products based on that type of consumer feed-back!

I know of several products I repeatedly purchase due to the knowledge of excellent past customer service
and a couple

I avoid like the plague for the reason,
that the customer care is nearly non-existent,
or the people answering the phones,
are obviously not knowledgeable or helpful.

Grumpy, as you mention companies to avoid, and I won't name them here because I'm not trying to defame anyone, there is one company I have had issues with. I still however deal with them on some things because, as much as it hurts to admit, they have the best selection of transmission parts I've ever seen at the best prices.

Just have to be sure I have all my part numbers written down, from their own website, before I call and don't expect the person on the phone to know anything about transmissions or the parts listed on their website.
I swear, it's like two different companies. One that developed this excellent website. The other that you have to go through to order parts from the website. Go figure.

Just a quick update. Aeromotive didn't repair my old pump after all. They replaced it with a brand new one FOR FREE!. It just arrived, brand new in the box.

Still can hardly believe this kind of product support in 2018. Thanks again Enzo!
