you can buy one and thats a valid option, but you can purchase the idleler pulley for about $20, or get one from a salvage yard for UNDER $10 , take a few careful measurements and use the WELDER YOU SHOULD HAVE IN YOUR SHOP to fabricate a very effective clone for well under $30
I MEAN ,COME ON GUYS!!! LOW TECH! easy project you can build with a welder and hand tools in under a couple hours:thumbsup:

WELDERS AND THINKING ARE ALMOST MANDATORY in a shop:thumbsup:
it doesn,t take long for a DECENT welder to MORE than recover its up front costs in savings in a shop!
youll save $100 plus on this one project, I can,t tell you how handy a decent welder in the shop is!:D

GOOD for most jobs in the shop

one other option, or you can EASILY fabricate your own if you have a few basic skills and almost any decent welder

whats it gain you?

Id say closer to 5-7hp and only at peak rpms, I saw about 10-12hp between BOTH the air pump eliminator and the under drive crank pulley which were both installed on my vette at the same time.
both only really help at peak rpms, BUT swapping too the air pump eliminator helps clean up the engine compartment, and removes a few lbs from the front of the car.
