Alternate BBC OVAL PORT intakes

OK I may not be the smartest guy when it comes to computer EFI tuning issues thats a given, fact , but even I have to laugh at the mistakes some guys make,
one of the guys I know recently swapped to a FIRST TPI INTAKE ON HIS 406 SBC
https://firstfuelinjection.com/products
his complaint was that even though he had rather obviously increased the air flow potential the engine ,and had used a set of brodix 210cc heads , his engine,
was just not pulling the power he expected in the upper rpm ranges
,even with better heads and a crane 119651 roller cam,
I pulled a few spark plugs , inspected them and they were showing the engine was obviously running lean,
I asked what fuel pressure he had and was assured it had been constant at near 40 psi, I then asked what injectors he had installed,
he stated he had simply swapped the stock 24 lb injectors from the original 1990 corvette into the new intake as they were working ok, in the original engine...

I had to smile, he was expecting to make about mid 500-550 hp, that would require about a 45 lb- 50 lb injector size and a better than original fuel pump in his 1990 corvette.

we all learn through mistakes, but at times the answer's, too why somethings just not working as you expected it too, should be rather easy to see.
