It wasn't for me, that kind and year of car I would only be interested in the real deal. I didn't want to go, especially when I started hearing some of the details. When we where close, the GPS wasn't correct so a call to the seller has us meeting him at this industrial complex. I strongly recommended turning around and going home at that point but my friend says we're in for a penny, in for a pound . . . . .
On arrival, the first thing I said was "why here?" and the seller said it was better to test drive there. After I noticed the back seat didn't match, carpet different in back, the wrong steering column and you could turn the ignition without the key the seller looked agitated. I did drive it around, noticed the clutch was worn, sputtered at 5500 rpms and steering wheel was off. When it looked like the guy I was with was going to talk numbers the seller got pissed when he found out the guy didn't bring cash - says he doesn't negotiate if you don't have money to show. that was all the flags I could take and I said good bye. I still think it might have a robbery attempt.
