I wont use anything now but a True Racing Oil in my 1963 Pontiac Gp 455 engine.
Too much at stake .
I have had Fantastic Results so far with Royal Purple XPR 10w40.
Like XPR Alot it's the only True Racing oil with a Detergent package for Street use and its designed for Methanol Alcohol Drag Racing, most oils fail immediately with Methanol Alcohol contamination dilution and then she blows up lesser oils.
Not a big fan of the oil tests online and You Tube oil tests videos.
They fail to use in actual engines Go out Street Racing 110-240 mph speeds hit singing the engine 6500-10,000 rpms.

Cold oil flow matters here in Illinois dead of winter -20 to -40 F.
It's the Dumbest tests put on You Tube lately cold oil flow tests when your doing True Street Racing when its 40F -110 F outside in Your Street Race Car or Drag Car Full you put license plates on it.

I received My Amsoil Catalog in the mail.
They set me up to become a Dealer for Amsoil !
They alot of different of lubrication products I never knew about.

Their Dominator Racing oil 10w30 I am interested in with the cooler fall weather on it's way soon.
I built the Pontiac 455 with alot of oiling tricks to deliver over 83 % more oil volume to the main and Rod bearings could experiment with different brand Racing oils.
Most important is protecting the Isky Flat Tappet Hydraulic camshaft and Isky Lifters with Zinc, Molybdenum, and Phosphorus.
