Well I'm here. 
I decided to join as some of my internet digging kept returning me to here. Figured I should just join and if I don't see what I want to know possibly someone would.
Real name is Steve also known as a**hole by my former wife. I sort of assumed the a**hole name as Grumpyvette got his. Once its been announced to everyone you know repeatedly it becomes a common theme. My nic Altered76 is a combination of a 23T Altered I use to own, and the fact I cannot leave anything unaltered. The 76 was added as I acquired a 1976 Stingray Corvette that I consistently battle in my own brain as to should I or should I not make it what I want. Knowing full well I will be regretting taking it to a point of no return.
I have a little history (25+yrs) drag racing, building motors, building tube chassis etc but mainly racing with the smallblock Chevy. Most anything I knew is useless info by today's standards as we didnt put wires in the fuel system and anything that was said about a laptop was something you got at the bar/club. :lol: I was around when toilets were being used to inject fuel though. :mrgreen:
I look forward to getting back into racing in the near future. I have a soft spot for 67-68 Chevy trucks and I have decided to go big on the motor so possibly I can get educated a little more here.
