Hi everyone! I have run across Grumpy's posts from place to place, and appreciate the information and advice he takes the time to post. I landed here last night after doing a search for Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT vs TPI intakes. Looking forward to doing a lot of research here!

Curious: What's intake eventually going into?

NewbVetteGuy - I bought an '87 350 TPI with 700R4 for an S-10 V-8 project 25 years ago, that never happened. I have a '97 350 Vortec Suburban that has an LT4 Hotcam, and although it accelerates better than my similar '98 Silverado, I want better performance. If I find an inexpensive intake that outperforms the stock Vortec unit, I might try it. But I have other non-auto projects that are taking priority for now.
