Another new guy...

Hi all, new guy checking in from VA.. couple of projects going on at the time, 350 to 383 in my s 10, keeping the vortec fuel injection and intake manifold (marine intake manifold swap a possibility) and a 67' cutlass supreme full resto/bastardization with a S/C 496 in the works for her. I'm a licenced machanic, every one in michigans broke, so i had to quit that for now and joined the navy, still loving the time my wife allows me to work on the cars.
Looking foward to picking grumpys mind, and any one elses here, if I come across something with either build that hasn't been asked and answered here yet.
 
please post pictures of your cars/projects when you get time.
BTW hows NAVY life?

my uncle served on a mine sweeper during most of WWII
my DAD was a aircraft MECHANIC,(working mostly on CATALINA'S and a few p38 lightnings)
here in Florida
 
Ill get pics up when i can, won't be any time soon though...
Navy life isn't that bad, decent pay for not having a collage degree, alwase know im not getting laid off or outsourced to china. I'm a communications Electronic tech. looking to go into electrical engineering when im done here and move on.
 
I trained to be an electrical engineer in college, I was hired by AT&T and for the next 33 years I was NEVER in jobs that required A DARN THING Id learned about electrical engineering, other than how to research problems and find solutions, I worked in INSTALLATION of central offices, outside plant and sales, the only thing having a degree did was get me the job
