Are The Frames On The Newer C5-c6 Vettes Repairable?

ARE Frames weldable? Do you think I could trade it in sneakily?
Gotta build up my credit quick, but maybe they would take it as down payment for a C8
(wish it could wait for the Z06, when will that be out?)

The damn company that sold it guaranteed it was repairable, so I emailed them but I suspect they will say As-Is but hopefully at least a credit. Probably hopeless, damn!

access too work on the part repair may require the area to be cleared of components restricting access,
or the major component to be welded too be temporarily removed for repairs,
this is going to take time and be expensive if your paying some shop to do this,
most insurance will rather total the car than get involved.
this does in no way mean the car can,t be repaired ,
to better than new condition, but it will take a good deal of time and effort.
and the skill and experience of the person doing the repair welds is critical,
a TIG WELDER with about 250 amp capacity is preferred.
but proper welds are potentially stronger that the material was originally,
and yes frame lineament jigs may be required to keep the frame in the proper location before and during welding
