Note the stock bottom & top end Pontiac Super Duty 421 engine used, Turbo 400 transmission, a 1957-1964 Pontiac Olds 9.3 " Fullsize car rear in near stock form with 4.30 gears.
8.73 ET 1/4 mile @ 173 mph trap speed 1st test run on the GTO.
Still amazing just how good those old Iron factory Pontiac Iron heads were on a few D port & Round Port engines like my TA.
Told you guys those Pontiac- Olds rears tough like a Mopar E & B Dana 60 musclecar rearend.
