what bullet and powder charge?
I've found a speer 165 grain

with about 44 grains of varget and a 215 fed primer works well in a 308

I'm using a standard Winchester 150grain bt sp when hunting , I do this
So if I fly out of state to hunt and something happens to my ammo I can buy it anywhere.
But heavy skin animals 165 or 168 grain bt ballistic tip seems to work well.
150's fly fast and flat and having a boat tail seems to be more stable.
