Yeah , that's telly,
It's like smoose on telly too,
27 guys working on one car in 1 week.
Only to have the ( crate ) engine start.
You hardly see them drive the cars....

that color, kind of grows on you,
after a bit.... its less ... well offensive.. shocking and out of place,
. and starts looking OK!

It looks much better in the close-up of the manifold, then it does of the complete engine. I imagine it looks better in person.

It's her car, it's got to be her colors !

Some more , its going in tomorrow

hello Chaps,

we have got the engine "running" on idle,....
we installed a atomic 2 EFI on the engine and had some interesting things happening so far,...
we could get the fuel presure below 120 psi,...
so badly did we have presure that we filled the entire inlet manifold and the cylinders,
try crancking that!
after several tries,.. we found petrol dripping from underneath the car.
the dual fueltank switch was leaking like mad,...
we found out that the selector switch was faulty and didn't open the valve all the way what
stopped the return line from being able to return to the tank,..
the engine runs now,
still some problems on "fuel enrichment, too much too few, we will find out soon doing some reading on the net
later this weekend.
alway great fun these old car I hope we didn't break anything in the engine whilst running it on hydraulics,...

Wow, that's alot of fuel going into the engine. I guess you changed the oil after all that fuel.

we are still meddling with the efi at the moment ? ihope we didn't bend anything ( or fucked up the piston rings,..)
a comprssion test will tell later,...
all great fun old cars!

Hello everyone
Anyone got any information on electro magnetic interference?
Got some funny symptoms with the msd atomic 2

Thx

Arjen

what type of ignition wire are you currently running?
in some cases steel or copper ignition wire can cause static, and electro magnetic interference.
For copper core wires, the resistance will be 1 to 6500 ohms, inductive wires the resistance will be 2200 to 8000 ohms per 1 meter or 650 to 2500 ohms per foot and carbon wires, the resistance is 10000 to 23000 ohms per 1 meter or 3000 to 7000 ohms per foot.
