Hi Guys

My name is Philip and I live in the northwest corner of Washington state. I am 57, married with two adult children. A daughter 23 and a son 19. When I was in my teens and twenties I did a few engine builds and some project cars. The most fun was a 69 camaro;red with a black vinyl top 350 (425hp) four speed. with the fake fuel injector hood . Then came marriage and kids and an endless bunch of family cars i.e. plymouth reliant k (i'm so ashamed). But it's all good and about a year ago I purchased a 1989 c-4, so once again I can drive down the road just for the fun of driving. I have been doing what I can to decrease the fuel economy, which is how I happened upon this site ; doing research on engine parts. I have found research is less expensive than replacement and I look forward to reading about your experiences and solutions.

Thanks ,Philip

most us older guys are only too well aware of the finanical cost of raising kids and the finanical sacrifices made to our car hobbies that it required during that part of our lives, but if your currently in a situation that allows a bit more cash to be spent on the car hobby, thats great!
post your questions and Im sure people will respond
