this can and occasionally does happen,
especially with people new to handloading ammo
and even RARELY with factory loaded ammo,
thats old or was stored incorrectly
so be very careful
many times this is erroneously blamed
on someone OVER LOADING a cartridge
when the truth is many times only the primer was used,
and little or no powder was used in the defective cartridge,
its the next normal
cartridge that blew up the gun
