bits of ar15 related to owning and shooting skill

best advise, don't get overly cheap, buy at least a heavy barrel 20 inch and ideally stainless, steel,
heavy fluted barrels provide a good compromise in weight,
more rapid cooling and stiffness thus increased repeatable accuracy,
with good ammo and longer barrel life expectancy.
it should be obvious you need to get a couple hundred high quality hand loads or factory ammo,
cartridges and at least 6 quality METAL not plastic magazines
basically duplicate or clone a colt H-BAR in you first AR15 rifle,
a true H-bar would cost $1500-$2300 but you can build a better clone ,
if you shop carefully for under $1100 probably under $870

if you don't have at least one AR15 and a half dozen loaded 30 shot mags, MINIMUM
and several hundred cartridges in your home, you and your family, well,
your not prepared for what you might face!
obviously you should have and need to have all the trust worthy adults in a home familiar with,
the basic load and shooting basics function of an AR15
and having each adult own a AR15,
and have the required mags, ammo and some range time is only reasonable!
