Question for today is controlling the blower motor speed? My 80 Camaro came with AC. Years ago, I removed my AC and therefore the blower motor resistor block that attached inside the AC box. I just added an after-market blower motor cover on the firewall, made for my Camaro, but without AC. The blower motor works, but only has OFF and High Speed, because I did not connect the resistor block. I could live with the OFF and High Speed only selection, but I wonder if anyone has ever mounted the original blower motor resistor block to an after-market cover? The resistor block gets hot and needs to be in the blower vent to stay cool when operating. Or is there another way to control the blower fan speed? Any ideas are greatly appreciated as I am not in favor of modifying my after-market blower motor cover.
