hey grumpy? my 1987 corvettes recently started to require a good deal more pedal pressure to stop the car, any ideas?
well if it was my vette Id put it up on the lift ,pull the wheels and do a visual inspection of the pads, rotors and calipers , bleed the brake lines, replace the brake fluid and verify the vacuum line to the brake booster was not leaking, inspect the brake booster and and look over the master cylinder. as a start.
low fluid, a worn part or a leak in the brake booster or vacuum line is the most likely cause, obviously a few pictures and more detailed info on symptoms and noise or any related info on recent changes to the car, mileage since the last brake job ,etc. might help
heres two links to threads with much more info

HERES bits of useful info, if your engine won,t produce enough vacuum to run brakes ETC. because you installed a long duration cam that reduced low engine rpm speed engine vacuum
