cam choice

Hi , I need some wisdom on a cam choice; I have talked with some of the cam companies out there and two cam grinders, cam motion, and Clay Smith. It seems everyone has a different recommendation; I have spent a lot of time on this forum and i am very impressed with the knowledge that is shared on here! That is way I am asking. I am building a 1967 C10 two wheel drive short box...hot rod. the truck will never see the track but i want a heavy hitting street basher that will be driven on weekend's.
It's a 30 over 427 BBC SRP #158830 hi dome pistons
Depending on the block HT it could be 11 to one or as high as 12 to one compression; with a 122 cc head from Brodix with a 305 runner; trying to keep the RPM range below 6500, also a dual plane intake. I would prefer a hydraulic roller but a solid roller is not off the table. Cam motion said they have a low lash solid roller; not sure about that, i have never heard of it but that don't mean anything!
It will have a built turbo 400 trans...will buy the converter as needed. Ford 9 inch rear end with a 340 gear 28 inch tall tires.
Everything but the crank and block are after market. I understand building a 427 and trying to keep it below 6500 RPM is kinda backwards thinking but as long as i can remember i wanted to do a old school 427 BBC
Thank you very much

your dome volume is 48cc with a 122cc combustion chamber and a typical .032 head gasket and a typical .012-.022 deck height
your compression should fall in the 11:1-11.4:1
range, with a 3.40 rear gear and 28" tires Id want a 3000 rpm stall converter

Id be looking at something similar to this at the mildest

and no wilder than this (what Id use if it was my truck with a 3000 rpm stall converter)

Welcome to the forum revjeff ! ..... Got Pics???

Grumpy will be along with some suggestions and of some links, but you already new that if
you have been reading. Well it's looks like he beat me by a few seconds.

When you get a rough idea of the engine specs, with flow numbers, intake manifold, exhaust,
cam card, short block specs and scr/dcr and post it all the same time, I can run a simulation
with DynoSim5 if you like.

typical similar brodix 305 bbc head flow youll need
lift...........................200--300--400--500--600--700
BB-1 2.250 Intake 150- 209 - 259- 290- 300- 303
1.880 Exhaust ...... 106- 137 - 166 - 190- 211- 225

WOW thank you very much!!! I like both choices and when i talked to George at Clay smith Cams he was a great guy, so i will be doing business with him! I will get some picks up soon;i have been working on it steady for two years with my son. The block is going to the machine shop next week. Thanks again and i am sure i will have more Qs for you guys

well? how are things going?
The motor is all built and has been run in a motor stan several times, sounds mighty nasty LOL The truck is taking much longer to get finished than expected plus the pris=ce of everything is crazy!!! I need to figure out how to post a video I have of it runni9ng on the stand. Thanks for checking in!!
