Between the C2 and C3 vettes there are several names for white "Classic White" , Can-Am White, "Polar White" Dover White" and by the end of the C3s GM just called it "White".
Is there any difference? Are they all the same white if you were to touch up parts?

The original paint code should be on a sticker somewhere on the car. sometime in the clove box or the door sticker or else

I know the paint code, it's on a tag in the door jamb. What my question is about is that I want to fix up my barn-find for sale, but I'm not repainting the car, just making some bad spots not so bad. The auto parts stores sell factory colors under different names than what GM (Corvette) called them, I needed to know if they would make good touch-up paint rather than showing primer. I'm good with spray painting and I know I can make things look better than what is there now. So now I know that "Dover White" and "Artic White" (the store's names for the paint) will be very close to the OEM color.

Are you wanting to mix the paint and shoot with your own gun or are you wanting
something in a rattle can ??? I used the first link to paint a spot 2' x 3', it looks
much better from 10 feet, but certainly not perfect.

You buy it according to the paint code, so it should be a very close match.

Mat,
who ever gets this car will get a good deal for a chrome bumper Corvette. Any money you spend will be seen. Seventy percent of what I did to this car was not needed yet. It can be driven home in confidence and I wouldn't hesitate selling this to my mother!
