contact you us, senators by phone to express your thoughts on the house assault weapon bill
and their chance of being re-elected if this passed the senate
personally I think anyone voting for that bill committed TREASON

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State,
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

this bill outlaws over 1/2 the firearms ,most semi auto, handguns, shot guns and rifles owned by the public
keep in mind many of the more common semi auto pistols have had full auto versions built and tested.
its cleverly worded to look like it only applies to some military look-alike clones
but its worded to apply to most semi auto handguns at the ATFs discretion

the news media clams theres now 24.4 million ak & ar style rifles in civilian hands,
the real numbers are more than
likely closer to 35-36 million from statistics the gun manufacturers provide
and millions of parts are purchased as replacements of completion kits
since the 1960s 2-3 million semi auto rifles a year are sold, so thats nearly 60 years and if only 1 million a year were sold thats well over 60 million rifles, the true numbers are easily 2-3 times what they will document

making them THE MOST COMMONLY OWNED FIREARMS
keep in mind that's not counting the MILLIONS of KITS sold by DOZENS of manufacturers where no records are kept
as they don't all keep count of non receiver parts sales
or put a different way, I don't know a great many people that don't own at least one semi auto rifle and most people won't admit that they do, that do, own one now (that horse left the barn decades ago)
example (I DOUBT THIS IS 5% of the vendors)

Heller (2008), the U.S. Supreme Court held that the Second Amendment protects “arms 'in common use at the time' for lawful purposes like self-defense” and arms that are “typically possessed by law-abiding citizens for lawful purposes.” Such arms are “chosen by American society,” not the government.May 22, 2022

If anyone has not yet gotten ghost guns in their arsenal, and hid them, then I pity them when they are forced to hand over their entire arsenal and ammo and then forced to go to a FEMA camp somewhere.
Many will die when the Government goes to take away people's 2A rights.
It will happen in the next 2 years, I'll bet my life on that.
