hey guys new here. need a little bit of help. i just recently bought an 88' K5 blazer. it is losing coolant rather quickly. radiator is full and i put a gallon into the resavoir 2 days a go and now there is only a little left in the resavoir. i did an oil change last week and other than being really burnt cause the previous owner didnt change it there was no water mixed in an no milky color. there is white smoke at the exhaust but its like 20 degrees outside so its hard to tell if its burning coolant or just there because the exhaust is so much hotter than the air. at times it seems like there is a sweet smell but other times it just smells like exhaust. there is a leak at the radiator i am trying to find on the driver side. it doesnt over heat. is it just leaking from the radiator or could i possibly have a bad gasket somewhere? any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Id suggest looking closely at your water pump,(especially if its over 3 years old) and coolant and heater hoses, and radiator, end tanks, as those are well known sources for coolant leaks , Id also inspect the freeze plugs as those can get loose or if steel was used, rust out!.
If the exhaust smells sweet it might be an intake gasket, or a leaking head gasket, your local NAPA AUTO PARTS store has a test kit they SELL that will show if theres exhaust gasses in your coolant, indicating a leaking head gasket, or you might have a cracked head or simply a leaking intake gasket but in any case you need to test and isolate before things get much more expensive.
