Don't Forget To Check Your Fire Extinguishers !

My 10 lb Halon fell off the bench the other day and bent-up the handle and broke the hinge
pin. When I got around to fixing it today I noticed the nozzle was full of mud and was totally
blocked. The FE might have blown the mud out when it was activated, but a fire is not the
time to test that theory.

So get your flashlight out and check the nozzle for mud dauber activity !

Good information Rick... I have never thought to check the nozzle.
I always check the gauge at least once a month.
I keep 4 of them in my barn and one mounted in my truck just in case.
