Dynomax Vt Mufflers Suck!

Uniontown is 30 miles from me and thats at the bottom of the mountain there is a lot to see real close to where you'll be especially in the fall with the leaves turning

Farmington is only a few miles from Uniontown maybe 10 but thats all in the area of my mountain ride

I love that whole area. When I’m up that way I always stop by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Waters. It’s funny that these historical sites are so celebrated when such a place would violate a dozen building and environmental laws. I can’t cut down a dam Inkberry bush if it’s within 75’ of my stream’s edge, yet O’ Frank built a house in and over top of a rapid stream.
There always seems to be events going on. Whenever I call the Travel Lodge in Uniontown they’re always booked. Want a great place to mountain ride - it’s West Virginia. They sell tour maps of some great twisting roads that are well paved, no lights for 20 plus miles at at time.

at Fallingwater you are about 5 miles from Ohiopyle park and at that time of year go up the hill to the overlook and not too far away is Mt Davis the highest point in Pa. in the fall on a nice day its all must see

Don't forget Rich old Frank was loaded with money and like the politicians of today laws are for other people

Now I have to go see this. I just got my first good digital camera and learning how to take professional shots, especially of landscapes. I’m planning a trip this fall already to see Eagle’s Mere in Sullivan Co., Pa , might as well incorporate a trip farther west at the same time!

If you are trying to get landscape pictures you wont find a better spot if you could get the rail road schedule when a train passes down in the valley and you are miles away on the scenic overlook it is something else something so simple in everyday life can be so amazing and from Mt Davis you can see 3 states Pa. W.Va. and Md. and 7 counties there is also deep creek lake 45 minutes from Farmington

Is that Lake the one that is over the top of the mountain where the Summit is? I saw one one on a ride last time. Loads of boats, docks and campers can be seen right off the road.

That is the Yough revivor where the Youghiogheny river is dammed if you go down into Confluence you can go over the dam and to the base where the river starts if you have a good set of binnocculars take them you may be able to get some better info by a search

you got to drive up and down the summit at least once going up that 3 mile hill everyone that rides with me knows that you don't try to keep up with me going up the mountain I run 100+ on the bike and then stop at the overlook at the top

Deep Creek lake is in Md. it has changed a lot in the last 10 years its now called a resort its still a nice area but its starting to turn to a more high dollar type of environment all the stop for a quick beer bars are gone and the old lake homes are gone with lakeside mansions popping up and I heard lakeside lots are going for a million a good friend is still living on the far end of the lake and he cuts grass and rakes leaves and does snow removal and small jobs and makes a real good living

It’s funny that the catalog states the two types of mufflers are slightly different sizes, actually they are Identical in their dimensions. It should be a piece of chocolate pie to change out! Let you all know about the sound maybe tomorrow.

Too bad nobody is close as I would just give the DynoMax VT’s away - *only here though. There’s not even carbon inside the outlets, no scratches they look brand new!

Those are not Dynomax VTs, they were discontinued over a year ago. I have a set and a friend has a set they are both quiet and drone free.

Just an up date about the replacement mufflers - the super turbos. They are just barely a bit more quiet than the VT mufflers, surely not worth the effort and money spent switching over.
