Engine Break-in

I'm getting ready to do initial startup on my 454, nothing fancy, .060 over, flat top pistons, 781 heads, air gap and 650 Holley. I was planning on using Valvolene Racing oil 20w-50 with the ZZDP because it's impossible to find single weight oil around here anymore. Especially with ZZDP already in it. My question is; is this oil too heavy for initial break-in ? I know I can buy the additive with ZZDP, but I'd still have to use multi weight oil. What weight should I use? I used to always use 30W but can't find it now.
Thanks

the answer will depend on your engines clearances and operational temps, at normal temps a 30w would be preferred, why not replace two quarts of the 20w50 oil with marvel mystery oil it will effectively reduce viscosity and help rapid flow into tight clearances
