Since most of you have more experience that i do, why not ask for the best way to change it and advice :).

Well, i need to replace my left side engine bracket:

Do you think i can just remove the 2 engine mount bolt thats holding the engine to the frame (or just one bolt and pivot the engine?)and use a jack on the oil pan to lift the engine and replace my part?

Any tips/ advice is welcome :).

Note: am replacing it because its a truck one(taller, i think) and make the engine lean to the right side.. want to fix this.

I guess i should loosen/remove the exhaust flange too(and the fuel line and any wire that may be too short)?
Anything else?

nope thats basically it... i doubt you will have to undo fuel lines or headers. it is going to be a tight squeeze slipping the old one out and putting the new one in. have patience.

Well, i guess am more stupid that i was beleaving.
I did some measurement and the engine mount bracket is the same height as the other one(one more part collecting dust). so i guess its the rubber engine mount that show some use(PITa to change on this model, but i already got the rubber/polyeurethane mount).

I also replaced my guideplates with adjustable ones, i was not happy with the geometry of the valvetrain before.
And found out the idiot that did my engine before(and the only thing he did that i did not re-check), ordered my hardened pushrod the stock length(wich is a little bit too long for my app).

Once again i was stupid, i pulled the rocker stud, and oups.. coolant in the oil.. wow bravo Mathieu..

I used thread sealer on the rocker stud, but i forgot my torque wrench at home..

Hey Mathieu, I think your best course would be to unbolt both sides, and lift/raise engine. I think you might get a little bit more room to work with that way.
