Extended wheelbase T bucket

have you made any changes or additions or significant progress since the pictures were taken

I have the motor and trans in the frame and motor mounts fitted but not tacked in. I hope to get that done today then get rear end located. It’s a little different order to do it that way but I think motor placement is very important to the look I’m after and I can pretty much put the rear end anywhere I need to as long as my drive shaft angle is good. Right now the trans output shaft is exactly the height of the centerline of the rear wheel centerline so moving the frame height up a minimum amount will keep undoing angles close to 2*.

I’m almost embarrassed to take pictures with Rick looking in with the quality of his pictures to compare with mine! Lol.

Man, grow a set !!! LOL !!!

I use PhotoShop to correct my mistakes, most people don't want to take that much time,
which I understand.

It will be nice to have that option for sure! Looks like one more day of good weather before
another cold snap ... get to work man! ;)

My neighbor gave me a 30k propane heater today. I just need a regulator and a tank and I’ll be able to work in the cold!

Where can you get a regulator, maybe Tractor Supply or Lowe's??

Are there different regulators for different equipment?

Lowes sells this brand of heaters so next trip to El Reno I’ll check on it. I may be able to fiberglass this winter after all!

Project is looking good! As for the tank and regulator... could you take one off a gas grill? I see old grills along the curb alot when I venture into town.
Some even have the tanks with them.

Rick came by and we got the rear end placed. Looks like the wheelbase is going to be 160” long! Does that qualify as extended?

Got the motor and trans mounted and the firewall cut out and templates for floor cut out. Only had to make 1 pattern. Flip it over and it work

It’s close but it should. At that point there is no movement. I can put a 1/2” to 1” spacer under the trans mount if I need to.
