Fast And Furious' 1970 Dodge Charger R/T - Drag Race!

In the original movie they show a 392 style Hemi with its rear mounted distributor!!

Some of the movie cars were powered by SBS's.

Thanks
Randy

Your right Randy.

I seen the movie in theaters when it came out with Bob ( Mopar Bob).
We never noticed.
He is still Mad the Charger was wasted destroyed in the Movie.

I can't tell for sure, I see a Mallory 9000 distributor or its a Vintage Early 1960's Vertex Magneto OAC with the original Tan Cap.
Tan Caps are Highly prized by guys like me.
Last forever. Can be chipped though with rough handling.

Movies mostly aren't interested in any accuracy, except possibly Australian and New Zealand.

They mostly get it right when it comes to vehicles.

Thanks
Randy

I can't show Bob that.
He will go insane Mad.
A Die Hard Mopar Guy.
When we met in the late 1980's he was driving a 1966 Pontiac GTO coupe painted Root Beer Brown Metallic Paint.
Transplanted a 428 Pontiac because he blew up the original 389.
Tripower Indians on top.
Muncie 4-speed. Gears he said were 3.55's in the GTO 10-bolt diff.
Always buring the tires off & drag racing everyone on the streets.

428's were my favorite Pontiac Engine!!!

Very powerful, I had a Grand Prix with one, it had a factory tape deck on the back of the console, no room anywhere else I guess.

Thanks
Randy

Richard had a 428 . I don't know if he still has it.

I had 2 421 Pontiacs a few years ago.
Should have hung onto.
