The courts have ruled yesterday that you no longer will be guilty of a crime if you use deadly force on your attacker, EVEN IF he is in retreat. They reasoned that an attacker could always turn around and come back to continue the attack.
Basically, if you attack someone be prepared to suffer the consequences. Just because you decide to call off the attack, it is NOT over until the victim decides it is over. You now may be legally shot in the back during your retreat and the victim will be immune from prosecution.
The 1st District Court of Appeals just bolstered a victims rights to "Stand your Ground" by a unanimous decision.

THIS NEEDS TO BE NATIONAL

Id bet some of the home invasion robbers (those that can read) are starting to get the idea its time to find a different occupation, (which of course is the object)making you safer in your home and less likely to be attacked
