Ford Cobra Flat Out Driving Racing

I kicked around the idea of buying a kit 1 already done, but bought another Vette.Thay come up for sale around here pretty regular.

the quality of the AC,COBRA clone kits, vary WILDLY,
some are cheaply made and complete junk!
and a few are FAR superior too the originals
in frame design and strength, suspension, design , brake efficiency,
, cooling, tires, shocks,ignition,
and even engines and exhaust, plus gauges ,interior and durability
doing your research before you purchase a kit,
could save you a great deal of problems and expenses

the more I work on these cobra kit cars, and
(I now have at least three guys locally that own one that stopover occasionally)
the more Ive come to realize how varied and different the various brands and manufacturers products are,
and I'm sure that theres a huge difference in quality just looking over the few I see and work on,
in both quality of manufacture and materials used, the cars small size and lightweight makes most of the A.C.COBRA clones reasonably fast, look good and are fun too own.
Ive gotten to work on several over the last few years ,
If I'm Seated in most of them, the cockpit/seating leaves me looking over the upper windshield, not through it, the seats are minimal and certainly not,
really comfortable.
now I realize the average corvette is always considerably heavier,
but at least you have a roof and a lockable interior,
that provides at least minimal security and keeps you from getting soaked in a rainstorm.
looking at options I think Id rather build, any of a dozen or more other exotic car clones.

yeah the A.C.COBRA clones are always impressive looking,
and you're almost always the center of attention,
if you pull in to get fuel or stop anywhere, but that's not always a positive experience as it seems to occasionally bring out the jealousy and frankly vindictive behavior,
in a few rare, rather un-balanced individuals, something,
you'll eventually experience, in common with ownership with many expensive exotic cars,
even to some extent with corvettes.
the cars below and several others impress me .
