My fuel pump is acting up, and it couldnt be happening at a worse time. X-mas= very little money to deal with this. My question is what are the minimum requirements for a pump for my Holley stealthram setup? Im gonna have to find a budget friendly pump if it can be done....

do you want an in the tank or outside the tank electric pump?
keep in mind youll want at least 40 psi and about 50 gal per hour minimum for performance use

The one Im replacing is in the tank so ill probably just go with that again

will the walbro 450lph work with my 1973 gas tank?

never having done that particular upgrade I can only suggest that it should not be difficult,
if you have any mechanical and fabrication skills that MIGHT be required,
or put differently, I would not hesitate to do so as I doubt any issues you might encounter would pose any real stumbling block.

UPDATE--
What a circus! Didnt have to change my pump after all. I was just about to drop the tank, my friend comes over who is a mechanic at a dealership(troubleshoots cars with fuel injection all the time) .I told him what was happening and he says right away to just clean out my distributor cap. What?!? Turns out there was some greasy buildup in my cap that when it was raining would get watery and start blocking spark signal which would then trigger some safety function that shut off the fuel pump?!? So I cleaned out the cap and put it back and problem solved. i feel like im 15 again asking stupid questions in auto shop

we all gain experience and knowledge by watching others and making our own mistakes,
look at it as a cost of gaining experience and remember it next time,
that you encounter a similar symtom/problem
