game and wasting disease

So... do you still buy into the theory of " Dinosaurs were wiped out by an Astroid" but the mice survived ?

"If you sell the seeds of doubt... you also control mass hysteria. "

This is a VERY good podcast and I buy into it.
We in Michigan deal with CWD and TB in our deer herds. It was always a topic that was talked about in camp.
WOW!! I could talk about this for hours!

I firmly believe this disease has been around since the dawn of time, along with numerous diseases we have yet to discover.
I also believe this is how evolution regulates " existence".

This is a script from Wikipeda " the world population is the total number of humans currently living, and was estimated to have reached 7.7 billion people as of November 2018.[1] It took over 200,000 years of human history for the world's population to reach 1 billion;[2] and only 200 years more to reach 7 billion."

If this is true, how could we not think that the reason we are seeing such a dramatic rise in strains we see , that were once isolated to a specific geograghic
location would not spread further around the world.

The CWD disease talked about in this podcast I feel is right on. Bone meal as a carrier agent.... you bet! It's used in alot of things. Heck...you can buy a
box of it from right next to the box of Quaker Oats!

I as a hunter do like to put out a bit of bait once in awhile. Admittedly, I use to dump a pail into a pile and enjoyed watching the deer feed. After the disease was found and recognize , I still throw out some bait but it is scattered over a large area. Does it help? I don,t know. I have seen deer herds tight together
in a winter wheat field foraging just as tightly together as if there was a pile of feed on the ground. I feel that if a population grows to large, nature WILL thin it to it's preferred density. The same goes for any species including humans.

I firmly believe it was disease and not the asteroid that removed the dinosaurs from existence.

Id also point out that anything the media can do to limit or dissuade the number of people,
that have the skills desire and tools to be self reliant,
vs totally dependent on government plays into the liberal agenda,
that in theory mandates total control of what ever you do,
and wants too eliminate personal individual possession of any weapon that could be used to resist bureaucratic mandates
less people familiar with firearms due to greatly reduced hunting opportunities fits that agenda very nicely/
you may consider that a paranoid outlook, but its a fact that one of the first actions taken by all dictators,
is removing the means to resist from as much of the population as they can, to strengthen their grasp on power
if you know history that indisputable and consistent fact from the Persians, the mongols -to the nazis too the communists.
people control starts with total disarmament of those to be controlled
promoting the idea that all game meat is diseased, limits the desire to hunt and thus firearm ownership.

PLEASE don't get me wrong. I FULLY agree with what you are saying.

I do not consider your point as a " paranoid outlook" at all.
You are as sharp and to the point with the way you put together words.. as you seem to portray with your shooting and hunting skills!

Which by the way... Your hunting stories are captivating! Thank you for sharing them.

You remind me of my Step- father in law. (my wifes dad passed and her mom remarried years later).
He is a self professed wild cat'er from way back.. He has a knowledge base the same as yours with hand loads and rifles and such. He is 80 years young and still calls himself the "recoil man".
LOL You ain't seen "machismo" until you've met my father in law named Fred.! You two together would prolly drive me nuts in hunting camp! (in a good way)
