Anyone on the forum have any experience with the Gates PowerGrip SB hose clamps? They are made out of thermoplastic and install like heat shrink tubing. Kind of neat looking.

Those make for a very clean installation!

Not sure I would want them on my daily driver, if I have any problems you better
have some extras. You can't reuse them, you have to cut them off. But then I
guess you could always go back with a hose clamp.

That's what I was thinking as well. For a show car, they would look nice. I'm sticking with regular old hose clamps to keep it simple.

The Thermoplastic heat shrink hose clamps are used in the Diesel field today.
Diesel engines are Notorious for cold water leaks.
